Why did all of the lights on the control panel turn off and then the warning sound started to beep?
This happens when pressing the TEST button. To restart, unplug the pump and then plug back in, if this problem continues please contact Hire a Hot Tub.
Why does the control panel not work?
The control panel enters into auto-lock mode after 5-minutes of inactivity. Under the LED display you can find two LEDS with lock/unlock icons. If the lock icon on the control panel is locked, hold the lock/unlock button for 3 seconds, you will then see the unlock icon turn on and lock icon will turn off. If the control panel cannot be activated by pressing the lock/unlock button, unplug and then plug back in. If this problem continues please contact 07783824434
What can I do if the control panel displays E01?
E01 means that the water flow sensor is not in the correct position or it may be broken. Unplug the pump, with one hand hold the pump and with the other hand hit the pump three times - strong enough to shake the internal components. Plug the pump back in, if the control panel still displays the alarm E01, please contact us
What can I do if the control panel displays E02?
E02 means that the system does not detect the water flow. Unplug the pump, then plug pump back in, next put one hand in front of the upper valve inside the spa, then press the Water Filter Button to check if there is any water flow.
If no water flows from the upper valve:
Check if the stopper caps were removed from the inlet/outlet pipe.
Check if the filter cartridges are dirty.
Check if any blockage in the pipes.
If after above operation the pump displays E02, please contact us

E03 means that the water temperature is lower than 4ºC. Note: DO NOT USE THE SPA if this is displayed.
Check the water temperature with a thermometer:
If the water temperature is lower than 4ºC, unplug the pump and wait until the water temperature reaches 10°C, then plug in to restart the pump.
If the water temperature is over 4ºC, Unplug and plug in, if the pump still displays E03 then the temperature sensor is broken, please contact us.
What can I do if the control panel displays E04?
E04 means that the water temperature is over 50ºC Note: DO NOT USE THE SPA if this is displayed.
Check the water temperature with a thermometer:
If the water temperature is between 40ºC and 50°C or over, unplug the pump and wait until the water temperature reaches 38°C, then press the reset button (see the PUMP OPERATION part in the Owner’s Manual) and then plug in to restart the pump. Note: DON’T USE THE PUMP IF THE WATER TEMPERATURE IS OVER 40°C.

Why does the pump not heat the water even when the heat button is activated and the water filtration system is operating?
NOTE: the heating system is capable of increasing the water temperature by approximately 1.5 to 2.0 °C (3-4 °F) for the Miami and Vegas and 1-1.5 (2-3 °F) for the Monaca. If it is colder outside heating will take longer.
The setting temperature is too low: increase the temperature until 40°C, using the Temperature Adjustment Buttons on the control panel.
The reset button operation has not been performed: press the “Reset” button.
The environment is cold: place the top cover on the spa and start the pump.
The filter cartridge is dirty: clean/replace the filter cartridge.
If you performed all the above operations and the water temperature has still not heated up, please contact us.
Are there special instructions using the RESET BUTTON?
Yes, there are special instructions to control the RESET BUTTON. If the temperature on the control panel (or the water temperature) has not changed within 4-5 hours after activation of the heating system, use a thin object to press the RESET BUTTON. This, will then restart the heating system. The system will not operate if the outside temperature is above 40°C (104 °F) or if the Lay –Z-Spa is under direct sunlight. Under these conditions, please wait until a cooler time of day before pressing the RESET BUTTON. Please note, that you will need to push the RESET BUTTON every time.
Why does the Lay-Z-Massage function not work?
The working temperature of the motor is too high, the protection system will then override the motor system. This stops the pump from working until the temperature is low enough to avoid any damage.
To restart the pump unplug the pump and wait for approximately 5 - 15 minutes. Permitting the motor to reach the correct temperature. Next, plug in the pump and activate the Lay-Z-Massage system. If the system does not start, please contact Hire a Hot Tub
Why does the Lay-Z-Massage Stop after 30 minutes?
The pump is provided with the out-shut system.
The filter set is difficult to unscrew from the spa wall, what can I do?
Unscrew the filter set with two hands and apply strength evenly to unscrew.
